Ok, but why did it take so long for this story? Does it have to do with Wikileaks? What about how do Canadians feel that a bill to make mining more ethical was defeated due to not enough support from the Liberals,... including Ignatieff who did not attend the vote?

Isn't it insulting to say "...Canadians have never heard of and yet would not be able to live without."? We can't live without this stuff??
